June 27/28- Fireworks in the Sky and on the Track this weekend at Dixie & Rome Speedway

Race fans can count on a full weekend of wide open dirt track racing during Dixie and Rome Speedway’s stock car racing double header Saturday and Sunday night, June 27 & 28.

It all kicks off Saturday night, June 27 at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia with a full stock car racing program along with a gigantic Coca Cola fireworks display. The 40 lap $3000 to win Super Late Models, Steelhead/525, Crate, Econo Bomber, Super Bombers, Street Cruisers and Pony Stocks will all be competing in the stock car racing portion of the program. The firework display presented by Coca Cola will take place during intermission shortly after dark.

Bring the kids early– The first two hundred kids will receive a complimentary checkered flag.

Come meet the drivers- The Top 5 in Driver Points Standings for each division will be signing autographs for the fans from 6:30 to 7pm.

Admission prices are as follows for Saturday night, June 27: Adult grandstand only $15, ages 9 – 17 are $6 each, and kids 8 years old and under are free with paying adult. Trackside admission is $22 for adults and $11 for kids. Pit Passes are $30 per adult and $11 for child privilege.

Then on Sunday night, June 28 action moves to Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia where fans will be treated to a 40 lap Super Late Model Championship that will pay $3,000 to the winner.In addition to the Super Late Models, Rome Speedway will also host a full stock car racing program with Steelhead/525, Crate Late Models, Econo Bombers, Super Bomber, Pony Stocks, and Street Cruisers along with another huge  fireworks display presented by Coca Cola.

Rome Speedway admission prices are as follows: adult grandstand $17, ages 9 – 17 $6, and kids 8 years old and under free. Race fans can save $2 on adult grandstand admission by presenting a Coca Cola bottle cap at the ticket window. Trackside admission is $22 per adult and Pit Passes are $30 per adult and $11 per child.

Gates open at 5 PM with racing at 7:30 PM each night.
